    I guess we're just lucky. Again this year we dodged the rain and pulled off our annual car show to benefit Riley Hospital for Children. It reminded me of our first show 3 years ago at the Sonic in Plainfield. It looked like we were going to get a deluge any minute all through the show and did get some sprinkles for a few minutes. But 30 some cars showed and the serious rain held off until just after awards were handed out.
  The recent loss of a 50 year old member reminds us that life can be short. Chase your dreams while you can.
