HSCA has lost one of its active members. John McEwen, Jr, of Avon died August 17, 2007 of complications from shoulder surgery performed in June. John joined our club in 2005 and owned  a red '67 Chevelle SS396 coupe, his pride and joy.  He was also a member of ACES.  Until diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy, John drove a truck for Gold Shield Solvents. He recently worked part-time for the Childhood Leukemia Foundation. Donations in his memory can be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association  at www.mdausa.org.
