• The April HSCA meeting was held at Himes Automazing in Westfield on Friday April 28. The Indy GTO Club was also in attendance. Himes' crew grilled 50 lb of genuine Wisconsin brats and had potato salad, soft drinks, and adult beverages on hand. Dave Himes made a presentation on chassis setup and answered questions. He also fired up his 3100 hp blown alcohol hemi powered '55 Chevy Pro-Mod for some ear splitting but sweet music. Virtual drag racing was held with a drag racing Christmas tree setup with reaction times displayed. The HSCA made a good showing but the President of the GTO club won, taking home the $300 top prize (no entry fee). HSCA's Ken Ward won the 50/50 drawing and donated his money back to the charity, which was Riley Children's Hospital. Everyone had a GREAT time as they socialized, toured Himes' new well-equipped facility, and gawked at the outstanding Chevelles and GTO's driven to the event.
