This issue’s Member Spotlight is on Bryan Hartley, the club’s new Treasurer. Bryan and his wife of 8 years Genny, live in the Greenwood area. They have two boys, ages 5 and 2. Bryan is 34 and works in the accounting department for a large insurance company. He is nearing completion of his Bachelor’s Degree. Genny is 31, is an educator, and has a Bachelor’s Degree in elementary education. Bryan has lived in the Greenwood area all his life. Genny is from North Judson, Indiana (near Valparaiso), where she grew up on a farm. They were introduced by a mutual friend. You know the story, city boy meets farm girl, city boy drags farm girl to city, etc. Kind of like Green Acres in reverse.
Bryan has had many neat cars (approx 30) in the past; Camaros, Monte Carlos, trucks, etc. His current fleet includes a ’70 Chevelle SS396, an ’87 Monte Carlo SS, an ’86 El Camino, and a ’95 Caprice wagon. Each one of them is absolutely mint.
In his spare time Bryan also plays with computers and spends time with his two sons. Genny likes to sew and make quilts when she’s not slaving for Bryan and the two boys.
