Does anyone else think auto auctions, especially Barrett-Jackson, are hurting our hobby? I think the televised format of B-J has made it a social affair for high rollers. IMO many people that aren't even "car nuts" are buying collector cars as  status symbols. The astronomical selling prices at B-J are helping drive prices of all classic cars up. Good if you're selling, but bad if you're buying. The price of admission to the hobby is getting very high.
