The 2007 HSCA Christmas Party was December 8 at Boulder Creek Dining Co in Brownsburg. Over 35 people including family members were there. As always the food was great and everyone socialized until the gag gift exchange was started. Everyone that brought a gag gift drew a number and received a gift. Anyone with a higher number could exchange their gift with one held by someone that drew a lower number. That made for some interesting and entertaining exchanges. Also toys were brought by some to donate to the Toys for Tots program. A 50/50 drawing was held and Kevin Augustin, Jr. was the lucky winner of $45.50. A drawing was held for some door prizes left over from the August HSCA car show and Tom Mikesell was the winner of a new brake booster. Other door prizes included gift certificates from East Coast Chevelle.
  Speaking of Tom Mikesell, it would good to see him out and about again after his early October emergency open-heart surgery. He looked great and is feeling good considering the extent of his surgery. He was presented a beautiful Chevrolet pocket watch by the club for his outstanding contributions and dedication. The watch has elaborate engraving and is inscripted with "Chevrolet" and a bowtie on the outside and the face has a red '70 Chevelle SS454. A picture of the watch is on the next page.
