The annual HSCA Christmas Party and December meeting was held December 9 at Boulder Creek Dining Company in Brownsburg. 35 HSCA members and family shared in the fun and food. After everyone enjoyed the excellent Boulder Creek fare, a gag gift exchange took place. Everyone that brought a gag gift was eligible to receive one and numbers were drawn to determine the order. Once a participant received a gift, everyone who received one after them could trade for it if desired. Of course the higher the number drawn, the greater selection to trade for. It must've been a success as most traders were happy and no name-calling or fights were witnessed. Several folks also brought gifts to be donated to the Toys for Tots program, which will be very much appreciated by underprivileged children. The toys were taken to a Fed-Ex Kinkos TFT drop-off point. A 50/50 drawing was held and Chuck Collins (who else?) won $46.50. He then very graciously donated it to the Toys for Tots program. What a guy! A door prize drawing was also held for a plated '67-'72 Chevelle power brake booster that was left over from the July HSCA car show. It was won by Larry Cook's wife Pat. Hopefully we'll see it soon under the hood of their '67 Malibu convertible project. See pictures of the party below:
