I am the original owner of this 1966 SS 396 Chevelle. I purchased the car Dec. 10 1965 here in Bloomington. The car was restored in 2002. I have tried to make the car look as original as I could. In the picture the car has 10 spoke Indy’s on it but now the car has the correct rims with the simulated mag wheel covers and Firestone red line tires. The interior is all new except for headliner which is original. The motor appears to be a stock 375 HP 396 with headers. (I just couldn’t bring myself to put stock manifolds on it)_This is the original block, crank, rods and pan. Every thing else has been changed to 425 hp Chevrolet parts. Crane cam, roller rockers, Hooker headers, and larger intake valves.
