Chuck Collins (father of Ed Collins)
Hello, I am Chuck Collins, my wife Florence and I live in Pittsboro. We have been collecting Chevelles for many years now. Here are two of the Chevelles that we own right now.

We found our 65 Chevelle 2-door sedan at Super Chevy in 1999. The car did not have an engine or transmission when we bought it. That same weekend we bought a totaled 87 Iroc Camaro for the 350 tune port and the 700R4 transmission. I have been kind of slow getting the new drive train in the car. I am using an aftermarket wiring harness, and installing an aluminum radiator, power steering, power brakes, Lokar shifter, and S10 wheels. For the interior I am going to try to use Cadillac bucket seats. When we got the car it had just been painted red. Shortly after bringing the car home we had it painted Pennzoil yellow. My goal was to have the car ready for Chevellabration (2003) but I will not make it….

1967 Malibu:
Since the ‘65 will not be ready for the trip to Tennessee we purchased a 1967 Malibu from California. Originally the car had a 283 power glide but now has a 1970 396, 330HP with a turbo 400. It is a factory air car, with power steering, power brakes and bucket seats with console. It is a very straight rust free car.

We recently sold our 65 Malibu SS so we did not have a nice Chevelle to cruise in this summer. We are looking forward to the Chevellabration road trip and many others with the members of Hoosier State Chevelle Association.
