1967 Chevelle SS (clone)
Some specs:
- ‘67 Chevelle (not a 138 car)
- 396 ci, runs great, looks great.
- Engine bay very clean; new radiator and fan shroud, etc
- TH400 trans
- 10 bolt rear, 3.08:1 gear (I think)
- Power steering, manual drum brakes
- 15x7 front, 15x8 rear Chevy Rally wheels
- Now with the year-correct ‘short’ Rally center caps (new pics forthcoming)
- Beautiful interior!! Restored bucket seats, restored back seat, new door panels, new rear side panels, new arm rest pads, new headliner/sun visors, new carpet, new window felts, new sill plates, unsure if dash pad is original (it looks that good; no cracks).
- I believe the sheet metal is all original. The frame and floor pans, inner fenders, fenders are in great condition. Only 1 small hole in the floorboard under driver’s feet (at the seam, typical). The quarters have some bondo, and the inner wheel wells and trunk are patched, but all is solid.
- This car is a nice driver, not a show car
- The chrome trim looks to be all original (except the badging).
