Here’s some pics of the Best Of Show trophy awarded at the 2007 Annual HSCA Car show. The pictures below were taken at the Automazing shop in Westfield, IN.
This trophy is 64” tall with a 20” x 15” base, and has wheels on the back side for easier moving. It is also a lighted trophy! The wood used is a Spanish Cedar.
The glass used: Solex, Flutex, Geeen mirror, Bronze mirror, Clear mirror, Gray and Clear glass. The lettering is laser etched and the mirrors are back-lit. The cord self stores in the base when not in use. There are also 2 "secret" storage compartments.
The lettering on the glass is laser etched.
The piston you see is a real piston, and it actually out of Dave Himes’ pro-mod car shown in the pics on this page. Dave was kind enough to donate it.
The trophy was designed for a die-cast or model car/truck!
